reviving treble strings

so i know there's a bunch of ways you can get the basses to sound nice and crisp again but are there any tricks to revive the trebles?

I take them off, clean them real thoroughly with rubbing alcohol, and put them back on backwards from before. Nothing else you can really do, and guitar strings are dirt cheap anyway.

Change your trebs a week before your important gig. But don't change your basses till the night before.

The best way to revive trebles is to change basses. I know it sounds stupid, but it's true. New basses bring out the overtones of the trebles.

Why try to revive them in the first place. Trebles last forever...just change basses. I go three to four months on trebles.

hey patrick,
that's pretty neat. i didn't know that.

the problem with my trebles is that they're starting not to hold their tuning so well. and they're just not as "springy." i think i'm way past 4-6 months. lol.

anyways, i just changed my basses last night to high tension and the guitar is more alive and slightly more bad ass sounding.
