re-recorded guijiras

Hey, gang of thieves!! I re-recorded a guijiras for your critique!

Now, from a 4 year guitar player, and from the mountains of Utah, comes all I can offer!! Bless you for listening, and may your ears recover from the horrible experience your about to encounter!!

Feedback and suggestions are appreciated!

Merle;

You are constantly improving! How about considering the following? Take one of your favorite pieces and really concentrate on it. Record and date yourself on day one. Do not over due it just try to have fun and play it everyday for say one month. Record yourself at the end of the month. What do you think? Getting better? Then add one palo you like and begin again. Continue playing the first piece once a day. Again do not over due it.

The idea is to try to concentrate on one thing at a time. Build up your repertoire one piece at a time and think quality not quantity!

Hey Merle,
Hope you enjoyed your Holiday in New Mexico!
Nice Guajiras!
You've come on a lot since I first heard you at the old FT Forum!!
It takes a lot of years, but I can hear you have the heart and the ear!
Hey Merle, why don't you consider saving up and taking yourself, the missus and the bairn off to Andalucia next year?
I'm sure you will all have a good time!

cheers

Ron

Tom, I will certaintely take your advice. It's funny because, when I started 4 years ago, I wanted to learn anything and everything, but, now, I only really have about 10 or 11 palos that I can really play that is halfway decent!! ;>)

RonM, I just finished paying off some bills, and believe me, I have been thinking of doing just that! Me and my family could go to Spain with my neighbor lady, and she could put us up with her relatives and be our tour guide. We have talked about this a few times.

Also, she always encourages me and says that I'm getting better. She really like my tientos!! ;>)
