Feedback on the Pedro Miguel 27F(spr...

If you own one, have owned one, played one, please tell me what you felt about it-also tell me what guitar you are used to playing(brand).

I have an opportunity on one, but its far away and i can't play it. i know the mans integrity and the guitar is fine, i'd like some opinions on the sound, the weight(are they heavier than what you are used to) and the overall playability of the PDM guitars.

I'm used to a Conde Hermanos 4E(student level) and i like that a lot-especially the neck. It is cypress and spruce. I've also played/owned a Navarro student 1 which was cedar topped-a very nice guitar also. I want the PDM in the Negra build to complement my Conde in cypress.

Hi Daryl,

I have not tried the 27F but I've played a Pedro De Miguel Primera negra. I personally really like it. It's a great negra: real flamenco sound but with more depth and harmonics than a blanca... just what a good negra should be.
Some say they are somewhat hard guitars to play as you need very strong hands to really get the most out of them but it's something I personally really like. I think that guitars should fight back a bit, it helps refine your technique and sound in the long run.
Tom from La Falseta has a couple of 27Fs at a very good price. His opinion is that they compare very well with the Primeras. Maybe you can get in touch with him.

I have one each a 27F Blanca, and Negra I like both a lot. The Negra is moody
and affected more by weather than the Blanca, but both are very Flamenco.
