Spanish TV

http://www.jesusquintero.com/quintero/index.php

This is a very popular interview programme on television here. Jesus Quintero is such a character and he often interviews flamencos. Next week my two friends Carmen and Sheila will be on the show. Carmen was one of the singers who I took on tour to America and Sheila is a flamenco percussionist. I have known them since they were young kids. They caught the attention of Jesus Quintero recently when they got married and their wedding was splashed all over the papers. It looks like you can download the programmes from the website if you cant catch it live. Theirs is an interesting story and I am so proud of the pair of them and cant wait to see the show. So exciting !!!!

Here is the full programme.

Carmen starts singing about 26 mins in followed by the interview. It's in Spanish of course, a very Gitana Almanjayar Spanish as well for those who want to practise their listening skills.

We had a great day out met David Bisbal,a great photo opportunity as soon as Carmen had let go of his leg. Also met Antonio Carmona, another photo opportunity as Carmen dragged him into our dressing room and we all gushed about Granada and his family in the Sacromonte.

Lovely to spend a day in Sevilla, hanging out in 35 degrees sunshine.
