Upgrading the forum - update

5 Gig of data FTP'ing to the US at 300kbps upload speed (you do the maths) - halfway through after 12 hours

I will run some more tonight. Then I will make sure it's all working and redirect to the temporary URL for you to test before moving the domain over. This should fix the timeout problems that cause lost posts.

Next I will upgrade the software to give us more functionality and stability.

Yeah, but the FTP software has to stop and relist the directory after each file and 300kbps gets throttled by my ISP as I use more bandwidth.

Umm, got about halfway copying data when the US server tells me I am out of space when I thought I purchased 100 GB. I have raised a ticket with the hoster.

I have also bought an extra big database to install the latest version of the software and will set this up for testing on a different URL for you; once I have re-restablished the foro as it is on the US host.
