Interview with Diego del Morao + Rondena

Interview:

Part 1 (including Rondena)

Part2 (including Bulerias)

It would be also cool if someone would take the time to sum up what he said (for me or others who are interested but don't understand enough spanish).

Man, i love this guy.

p.s. for those who don't know him....yes, thats the guy with not enough Aire

I saved these videos a few months ago when the links were posted here.

I like the walking bass line at the end of the rodena.

Great vid Arash!

Very "simpatico" personality has Diego and is rapidly becoming an establishment figure in Flamenco guitar.

His dad, Moraito is becoming a bit like the "Lennon" of Jerez.

cheers,

Ron

oh, so these vids were posted already. sorry, missed that thread then.
Ron, i like these Jerez guys. they seam to have this Aire/duende thing in each of their cells. And specially Diego, yes he is very sympathic person, i hope his solo album will be out soon (if not already? i couldn't find any news about, but remember that someone, i think conrad, mentioned that it will be out soon. i guess it will mostly include falsetas that we already know from several albums where he played with different Cantaors, but still it will be a must have)

LOL!

Yeah, they are always dead cool and nonplussed about things and really laid back and humble while playing really great stuff!

cheers,

Ron

This guy is also very groovy

His falsetas are a little bit more modern but the same vibe as Diego
(Sound quality is not so good in this video)
