Anyone been to the Bath Guitar fest on the flamenco course with Rafeal, its a bit pricy, just wondered if it caters for begginers or intemediets mainly Cheers dave
I did a day course with him once and it was manly for beginners intermediates but he went over compas. It's too pricey for me I'll save up to go to Spain I think Fergus
Thanks guys, I must say its a bit pricey for me, and accompanieing is something I need to concentrate onrather than solo work, for £500 one could go to Spain, and maybe sit in on a dance class, but havent made up my mind yet, and Jim, let the forum know if there are any classes in the North of Uk. Cheers dave
I'm going but it's my first time there so i don't know what it will be like, apart from Rafa's a great teacher, fact, and i don't say that about anyone else. So Jim, are we on Irish or Scottish?

Yeah El C, I love Rafa's personality. He gave me a lot of confidence. I liked the way his wee girl Tamara danced all the time in the hallway and he said "Don't leave your coat there...she'll go through the pockets!" LOL! Nice guy, be sure to tell him I certainly haven't forgotten about him, it's just ...well, the finances at the moment....and tell him thanks for everything and I'll see him again in the near future.
Well that's a damn shame ron i think it's going to be fun. Of course I'll say hi to Rafa for you.
My boss gave me a surprise pay rise last year and i said "hurray more money to spend on flamenco!!!" and she sort of said "yeah rite!" with her eyebrows

I'm going with an open mind and not expecting too much. If it doesn't work out, I'm sure there'll be plenty to do and of course with two Foro's there we can knock out a few tunes.
Scottish or Irish? Celtic supporter, what can I say?
haha I meant whiskey, i do guitar and bikes but i draw the line at football...as for celtic...van loock isn't very irish i'm a blended whiskey. I'll tell u my story if we find we have time on our hands.
I'm looking forward to meeting you too u have been playing for some years, no?!!! says Van Vampiro
