That's OK Zurdo....you have the "Zurdo Mono"! I'll take the Saltire as a provisional avatar. By the way a professional (Spanish) flamenco player who has played for various dance companies showed me Fandangos de Huelva as Golpe, 2, 3 Golpe, 2, 3, Golpe, 2, 3, Golpe, 2,3....etc I must admit it did sound good when he did it, but I find it a bit unweildy, as I've always mentally thought of it the same as Andy. By the way he told me that's OK too, but to concentrate on the Golpe, 2, 3 as well. as dancers preferred to hear the Golpe on 1. I must admit he played it with a really driving and forceful rhythm compared to mine. Ron

If you accompany the cante por Huelva or listen to a real Huelva guitarist, gople,2,3 is right. Think thumb, rasgeo, rasgeo. The palmas are 2,3,5 etc. Sean
