Bartlett Guitar Mic B

I know its been discussed before but I just wanted to let others know that I recently purchased Bruce Bartlett's Guitar Mic B. I can't tell you how happy I was with the purchase! Bruce was a great guy to deal with and when I asked about adding an ON/OFF switch to the device so it would make tuning up easier during gigs when plugged into the PA, he said no problem. He customizied mine with a longer mic cable and the switch and shipped out within 3 days.

I used it last night at a gig in a large hall and it worked perfectly! No feed back, no strange hiss or hum, no boominess. It clips into the sound hole and wraps around the heel so no wires in your way. I felt it replicated the true sound of my Culpepper. I used to use a Shure SM58 and struggled with staying in the sweet spot during a performance. If you move away it would get quiet and in to close and here comes the boominess.

While there may be more accurate ways of amplifing the flamenco guitar, for the money, especially in an accompanyment situation, this can't be beat...
