Hi everyone. I live in usa and thinking of visiting spain, is it less expencive to buy a flamenco guitar there ? also what is the best soundig guitar if you had about $1500 us to spend, and what city in spain is the best place to go to buy a guitar.
You are indeed correct. Guitars coming into the US are not tax exempt. The tax rate is 8.7%. I know, as I had to pay it on my Tezanos. The problem is you may bring a guitar in and not get charged, but the next time you may. It seems to be up to the mercy of the agent.
