Staccato arpeggio?

Now that I know that picado (and alzapua) should be played staccato. I hear that many arpergio's sound a little staccato too. Especially from the old ones.

Is that possible. I mean you can't place the next finger on the same string like in picado. You got to move on to the next string. Is it still possible to let it sound more staccato and rythmical ?

Someone please ?

There are diffrent ways to plant your fingers. "full plant" and "sequential plant" etc.

Get a copy of the book "pumping nylon" and read about it in the end where the 120 arpegios are.
