Born in Sevilla, David learned from the old gypsies, connoisseurs and artists in Morón de la Frontera, the village of his grandparents. As a boy, his most outstanding qualities were “cante jondo” (song with depth) and ability with rhythmic flamenco songs. At age 15, he began working venues such as Tablao Arenal, Cristina Hoyos Museum, Tokyo Tablao Flamenco, Peña Torres Macarena, La Carboneria, La Perla de Cadiz, and la Peña La Platería in Granada. He has sung for dance in La Unión with Soraya Clavijo (Premio Nacional de baile), and El Nano (lead dancer in company Cristina Hoyo) in 2012; VIII Festival de Jóvenes de Andalucía (Andalusia Youth Festival), XXIII Festival de Arte Flamenco in Extremadura, and has shared the stage with El Oruco, Pili Ortega, Juan Polvillo, Miguel Vargas Company, La Turronera, Sergio Gonzalez, Francis Nunez, Esperanza Fernandez, Eugenio Iglesias, Antonio Moya, Carmen Ledesma and Curro Fernandez.
