Flamenco Festival Chicago

The 4th Annual Flamenco Festival Chicago is being held from January 12th through Febuary 14th. Performances by Antonio Pitingo, Mayte Martín & Belén Maya, Arcángel with Niño El Morao, Cañizares, and Enrique Morente with Tomatito. There is also a film festival and workshops. For more information go to Instituto Cervantes de Chicago

Ooh! I've never seen Tomatito. Too bad he is playing with Enrique Morente. Do you know if he'll play any solo stuff. I like Morente, but I'd like to see tomatito featured more.

Don't worry, Tomatito is awesome, accompanying or otherwise. I suspect it'll be half cante and half solo. Just go and enjoy, he is a monster flamenco.

I would rather see Tomatito accompanying. That is his forte. It's not often that you can see a great accompany a great like Morente. Don't worry he will be shineing at what he knows best.
