Eric Fritsch Hello

First, I would like to thank you for everything that you do and share that is flamenco guitar!  I picked up the guitar for the first time ever about 13 years ago when I was turning 42 (a great mid-life crisis thing!) and have been playing ever since. I took some (a very few) classical guitar lessons, learned basic chords and can do okay at reading standard notation, although I always prefer tablature!   I joined a guitar ensemble group about 11 years ago (although I'm not with them now) and for nearly 10 years I played with others and practiced practiced practiced. I became known as the flamenco guy in the group because I was the only one who played strictly fingerstyle and played flamenco music. I love this music--it is powerful, energetic and FUN!
