Florian, I had emphasized the importance of your contribution before, under hostile circumstances. I am so pleased to reiterate the same sentiment in a more propitious situation, adding my thank-you to the general appreciation for your remarkable effort in organizing this competition with your relentlessly contagious enthusiasm, and for the fabulous response you have marshaled.

Three shouts for Florian:
Hip Hip… Horray !!!

Yes, I agree. Florian is a special person. It is very generous of him to devote time to inspiring others to reach higher. He has an enormous amount of respect for flamenco and it shows in his work. I applaud him for this and I am glad he contacted me to be a part of it.

I will offer the same prize on an advanced level contest if one is organized and there is enough interest.

i extend my gratitude to all the the members of this forum--i knew nothing of flamenco 4 months ago, but have discovered a new passion through the help of all of your efforts. Florian's relentless enthusiasm and willingness to contribute is just one more example of the spirit behind flamenco that continues to inspire me.

Yes. I suggest that those of us who begged Florian not to leave in a huff should be feeling smugly pleased about now.

It is good that you are still here Flo. You're the only guy I know that I can call by a girl's name without starting a fight.

BTW, if you are looking for fights, the following names work rather well:
Cindy
Donna
Nancy
Princess
Cupcake

Caveat:
Just, you better be sure he's a hetero homophobe before using this tactic. If he's a queen, it probably won't work, and you could possibly wind up getting Valentine's Day cards from a new admirer this year.

And whatever you all do, don't fight in the forum.

You a very generous person Flo. We all appreciate the effort you put in and everything you do for the members. Next time I drink a Foster's I'll make a toast to you. Better yet, if I'm ever in Australia the beers on me. Cheers!

unless someone else wants to organise it you have just
reinspired me again to ogranise an advanced one soon enough..even bigger and better...I realize what i am about to say sounds a litlle clique but i mean it..How can i not try to do my best as much as i can when theres so many nice people just like you guys that bring it out of me everytime ..

Wow. I was so concentrated on the Beginner Challenge I can't believe I missed this thread and several others.

I definitely want to thank you Flo. As everyone says, organizing something like this takes time and I really appreciate the time you took for this.

I don't think I'll win, (too much of a newbie), but it's definitely pushing me and I love it that I'll actually be judged.

Thanks again.
