Food Allergies

Anyone else here allergic/intolerant of any foods? I'm allergic to wheat.

I'm trying to make a specious argument based on circumstantial evidence that links food allergies to flamenco greatness.... lol

Kiwi fruit - sneezing, itchy throat, itchy ears etc for about 20 minutes before it wears off - shame because I like it. Nothing else bothers me that I know of

I'm allergic to 9 pints of beer. It really makes me unwell and stops me playing guitar.

I'm sensitive to poultry. I'm not exactly sure what it is or how it works, but it can cause... discomfort. KFC never does it, but maybe a roast chicken from the supermarket might.

Once, at Chinese New Years I had squab (i.e. pigeon) and I was ill for 3-4 days and weak for a few more after that. I would have suspected food poisoning, but my date who had the same as I, had no problems, and I'd also broken out in hives, and bad food never did that to me before.

But I am furthest from greatness at flamenco.

I am allergic to poultry and seafood. My seafood allergy is actually worse - I can't eat anything from the water. As for poultry - I still can eat a little bit of chicken if it is not too fat.

Why you gotta hate on wheat like that? You tryin’ to start some mess!?!

I’m allergic to a pricey antibiotic that I once spent my last $63 on, but other than that, I got nothin’.

A friend of mine was pretty seriously allergic to chicken for many years, but at some point, something changed, and she’s now able to eat it again. Not really sure under what circumstances she made that discovery……..

So, there may be hope for you poultry-resistant types some day…….

wow you guys have it bad lol

Pimiento, I can't even have one lol.

Poultry and fish? what about fish oils???

Antibiotics, at least the pricey ones are the ones you are allergic to, you can say you are allergic to the price
