but i think i can feel and hear the difference in trebles that have been on for a month and fresh trebles

the fresh trebles have alot more after note...the older ones just have the note and thats it..

What do you mean "after note"? Like sustain?


I really think you're probably right about what you think you hear. But everyone plays differently, so maybe they just wear down their strings differently?

not just that...


the only way i can describe it is...

when u use a pickup on a nylon string guitar u only get the exact note...nothing of the stuff that sorrounds it..


but when u use a microphone also get those natural sounds that go with the note.....am I making any sence lol ? i wont blame u if not..i am writting it and i am scratching my head

Hey John, would you mind telling me, where you order your strings? I order mines from the internet too, and I think I already found the cheapest distributor.


When I really feel the need to clean my strings, I use one of those ultrasonic cleaning machines (The ones where you put in your glasses or jewellery). There the strings really get all their dirt off.
