Some note to the German speaking here

Ist euch schonmal aufgefallen, dass es vorteilhaft oder zumindest einfacher ist auf Deutsch zu zählen, da alle fast Zahlen bis 12 außer der 7 nur eine Silbe haben? Glücklicherweise fangen die zweisilbigen erst knapp nach 12 bei 13 an, also drei-zehn, vier-zehn, fünf-zehn,.... Zufall oder Fügung?

In written English yeah, spoken it's actually really 'levn'

It gets really tough in English when you put the 'th' at the end,, especially "sixth". I think it's funny that the movie "The Sixth Sense" doesn't have a German title - Germans say "Seek Sens"

The numbers turned around in German drive me crazy. Worst is when a customer Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dipl.-Ing. Breit calls and gives me a phone number 23 76 38 = three and twenty, six and seventy, eight and thirty. Then they spell the name 'Breit' = berta-rudolf-emil-ida-theodor like f'in ground patrol to an airplane throwing me all off

Then the Austrians call with their weird dialect don't get me started.....

Erstaunlich wieviele hier Deutsch verstehen.

John ich versteh das mit dem Breit nicht... Vielleicht weil ich Bayer bin? Das mit unserem komischen Zahlenverdrehern ist mir allerdings auch schon aufgefallen.

Flamenco-TV im Februar

Sa. 23. Februar 2008, 1.55 in 3sat:
Ein Flamenco-Konzert-Mitschnitt von den Leverkusener Jazztagen 2006 des spanischen Gitarristen Rafael Cortés, der im Ruhrpott wohnt. Die Band spielt in der Besetzung: 2 Gitarren, Flöte, Bass, Perkussion und Flamenco-Tanz.

So. 24. Februar2008, 20.15 im WDR:
Wunderschönes Andalusien - eine Reisereportage. Die Moderatorin nimmt alles mit, was es in Analusien mitzunehmen gibt: Die Costa de Sol, den Flamenco (nimmt auch Unterricht bei einem der berühmtesten und besten Flamenco-Tänzer Spaniens Manuel Betanzos), besucht die beste Reitschule Andalusiens, zudem ist sie Gast beim Bullenrennen in Vejer und in Marbella dann noch mit Prinzessin Maja von Hohenzollern verabredet. Olé! Wird am 25. Februar um 2.30 im WDR wiederholt.

Mi. 27. Februar 2008, 13.15 /21.15 - ZDF Dokukanal:
El Torombo, ein Tanzlehrer aus Sevilla verbindet mit dem Flamenco-Tanz auch eine Chance junge Gitanos aus der Vorstadt von Drogen und Kriminalität fernzuhalten. Die Dokumentation begleitet El Torombo und seine Familie in eine Welt abseits der touristischen Meilen.

Isn't there a theory about the origin of flamenco being somewhere in flanders? FLAMand <=> FLAMenco....can't be considience

Das ist so eine Sache unter Büromenschen, das Buchstabieren am Telefon. Für Piloten gibt es ein vorgegebenes Wort für jeden Buchstaben, damit man nicht p und b oder f und s durcheinanderbringt. Büromenschen machen das auch, wenn es einem nicht gewohnt ist bringt es einem beim Mitschreiben völlig durcheinander.

Auch typisch deutsch sind die Titel. Sonstwo ist ein Dr. nur ein Arzt, in Deutschland irgendeine gelungene Doktorarbeit. Doktor der Literatur und so (tätig bei McDonalds

) Dann lassen Sie es sich auf den Perso drucken um noch mehr aufgeblasen zu wirken

Versteht mich nicht falsch! Die Typen gibt es überall auf der Welt, nur Deutschland macht es einfacher sie zu erkennen

Ich hoffe ich habe niemanden beleidigt - seit meinem 16.Lebensjahr lebe ich hier und bin jetzt 31, ich bin ja praktisch Deutscher

Wer von euch geht auf die Musikmesse?

Ich will auf jeden fall am letzten Tag hin. Vielleicht kann ich eine günstige Zweitgitarre (Zypresse) ergattern für paar Euro....was weiss ich von Saez oder Antonio Sanchez, usw.... Die sind ja alle da

Ich werde vielleicht auch hinfahren. War zwar schon dreimal dort aber das ist schon ein paar Jahre her.

Das mit dem Gitarre kaufen ist auf der Messe schwierig. Aus Diebstahlgründen darf auf der Messe nichts verkauft werden. Manche Gitarrenbauer sagen zwar, dass das mit Tricks schon geht, mir war das allerdings immer zu riskant. Was geht ist, dass man dort die Gitarren von mundo-flamenco antestet, und dann mit dem Besitzer ausmacht, genau diese Gitarre zugeschickt zu bekommen. Man kann bei denen sogar noch ein paar Messe Extras heraushandeln.

Ein Freund von mir war bei der letzten Musikmesse am letzten Tag da und hat von Antonio Sanchez eine Blanca mit Fishman pro blend pickup für 400 Euronen mitgenommen!
Natürlich nach dem traditionellen persischen assozialen nervzerstörendem rumhandeln

.....Ich glaub der Spanier wollte ihn einfach nur noch loswerden

Ich glaub dieses Model kostete über 1000 Euro
