Ban Avatar Changes

Ok Guys, some of you are going to call me Mr.Picky but there are those of you are guilty of the most heinous of forum crimes.......changing your avatars.
DUN-DUN-DAH
Imagine looking forward to getting a reply from say Manzman with his lightning magician, only to find he has turned into leopard skin guitar strap one day or finding that overnight Ricardos´ Gerardo has become Juan Martin!! Suddenly, like a Hollywood makeover, their whole forum identity totally different. Don't ever change guys.
I guess this is pointed at certain forumites (cant name names) who post new studio photos of themselves every week....its so confusing. Its worse when someone who was vicente is now something else, leaving room for someone else to be vicente...like reservoir dogs where everyone wants to be Mr. Black
Administrators, this situation is laughable, deplorable, outragous and just plain silly. Ban Avatar changes!!!!!

Nahhh!! Variety is the spice and all that. Just because you've got my skirt and feet atm, I might want to change that, depending on my unpredictable mood. Imposing this ban would be a denial of my right to be contrary, changeable, unruly and wayward. And that's just when I'm in a good mood.

Ban Avatar Changes - Is this a subliminal message from a phsyco serial gitano killer sect - it seems to be an anagram of:

hang caravan beast

**** man! I wish you hadn't used me as an example, I've been planning on changing that for ages, now I'll feel bad if I do!!

I sort of agree though. Some people have changed theirs a few times in a short amount of time it gets a bit confusing.

but also agree variety is the spice etc..

Was also thinking of changing my name how would that go down???

I have no Avatar. Could that mean that I really don't care at all? Isn't that an unexceptable form of non conformity? Or, is changing my Avatar even better?

Actually, that is a photo that I took during a concert in Malaga and my hand was shaky and the accidental result is the highly original Non Google stock image of Paco

Well, she does look pretty good considering the size of the guitar... relaxed smile, thumb moving nicely across the strings, not afraid to play up the neck bit... are they pegs on that axe, too??

Uh, I just changed mine. Sorry. I tried to upload a few different photos, but it didn't work. Wrong size maybe. Is there a free program out there to change the size of photos?

Ok, but not Doitsujin. I look forward to his ever changing and entertaining avatars! I can't decide which I liked best, "Darth Sidous" or "Quartermain and two gays".

if you only want to change the size, you can also do it with the standard paint software which is included in windows.

But as James said, Irfanview is great and has many additional functions and its free. It is surely 10 times better than paint.
I use it.

I tried to change mine also, but it doesn't work. It has nothing to do with the size. The size was proper. Something else must be wrong. Might be the foro or my PC.

If you have a PC with windows. Use "paint". U can stretch all images. Than just save it in the right filetype. Et voila.. you can use it as avatar.

Simple! You just switch off the image stabilizer on the camera!

I dont know how to turn it on in the first place.....I didnt even know there was an image stabilizer. Your camera is clearly more expensive than mine

Thanks, I downloaded it and was finally able to upload my pic. I promise not to change it for a while.

Try this one:

www.irfanview.com/

But don't blame me if it doesn't work, I've never tried it as I use photoshop.
