Why would it sound nuts ? guitar is guitar heavy Metal players & Jazz players have greate left hands I belive if you were to combine the Left hand of jazz guitarist and heavy metal guitarist with the Right hand and sole of a flamenco guitarist and trow in the tone and velocity of a Classical guitarist you might just have the Perfect most balanced guitarist.

Each style has something unique to offer.

Cracking guitar player. I have a couple of Dream Theatre albums and one of their live videos. Awesome chops.

I used to be into all this flash metal stuff - it all seems comparatively easy when you get into flamenco!
