Where do I get Vicente Tickets

Hi Guys, althought I have been a member since January this is my first post. The advice and discussions have been great, and I have purchased a CG171SF and a CGX171SCF as a result, and I am very pleased with both of them. Even my Teacher (who plays a Hand made Steve Beck Blanca peg head) is starting to warm to them, my only criticism of Yamaha is the lack of stock in the UK and the wait times, six months in my case. However what I really want to know is where can I get tickets for Vicente Amigo in Montpellier on the 6th October, and is this a Vicente concert or a short set in a guitar festival. I would want to be sure of having secured tickets as it is a long way to go to find I can not get in.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Dougie
you could try this website for Vicente tickets - Carrefour is i think a big supermarket type thing in France but they seem to be selling tickets..
http://carrefour.francebillet.com/place-spectacle/manifestation/Musique-traditionnelle-du-monde-VICENTE-AMIGO-SEPTET---DANCER-GU6O.htm?_x=x&_lang=en

you can click on the English language at top.

On another note - was it recently that you had a 6 month wait for the Yamaha?? I was hoping to buy one for someone for Christmas.. hoping its not too late.

Hi Romanza, thanks for the link. The Yamaha 171SF arrived fairly quickly after I ordered it, however they told me it was the last one available from Yamaha UK at the time. I ordered two 171SCF's on the 19.1.07 I got one of them on the 1.6.07 the second one is still on back order. Either they don't make a lot of them or Yamaha UK dosn't get a lot of them.

I hope for you you'll see him!
Cause I bought for two times the tickets for his concerts during a festival, and he never came (every time they say: "Vicente Amigo is sick").

Good Luck!
