Flamenco Fusion

Hi everybody!

I love indian/flamenco fusion like Indialucia, Sacha Silva, Gualberto, Violet Samudra, Hossam Ramzy's Flamenco Arabe albums, or Pepe Habichuela's album with the bollywood strings (although this album is IMHO sometimes a little bit tacky), and I was wondering of some of you guys here are aware of any other musicians who are producing similar music. I'm particularly interested in finding more artists who produce sitar/flamenco fusion with tablas etc.

many thanks in advance,

Nate

hmm... no sitar... but maybe you'd be interested in qawwali flamenco.

I find it very interesting as well.

I think that, sadly, you already got them all. It's a shame that there are so few artists who play this fusion. Maybe more will come in the future :D

I remember the beginning of Vengo....starting with a nice ride on the river and the tomatitto playing with some arabian guys.

Does anyone know who these are, or if it is on the cd from Vengo, if there is any?
