Nice tortilla Melchor

Bringing this thing full circle, the 'exaggerated reports' of Mario's passing led to the special report that's up in English at Deflamenco with some neat pictures:

http://www.deflamenco.com/articulos/escudero/indexi.jsp

It contains some historic information I think everyone will enjoy.

Estela;

Can you get a mailing address for Mario? We should send him cards wishing him many more productive and healthy years. I have family in the Miami area by the way. Do you know where he plays?

Tom, that's a great idea, especially since it got back to me that he's delighted with all the sudden attention:

Mario Escudero
20020 Southwest 113 place
Miami, Flolrida 33157
USA

I'm afraid he only plays a bit for himself. Please understand that "fine and well" really meant he had not passed away after all. He's suffering the problems of the elderly and may not be able to relate to complicated messages.

Estela;

Thank you! I hope others join me in sending him a card to say hello and wish him well.

Hi Tom!

What a nice idear!

I play a lot together with an old frend, he has studied a long time ago with Mario Escudero,

I was a few years ago with him to "fiesta Gitana"a flamenco group, and saw there Sammy Martin, a ex dancer who companied the group. He was telling us about the bad health of Mario Escudero, and that he was in a kind of sanatorium.

Thursday, we are going to jam together, and I am sure my frend is very surprised about the action, and send a postcard too!

I do the same ofcourse

Greetings, Peter

Tom, I had none in my recipe program, but I put in Google:

receta mazapan

...and got about 900 hits, mostly recipes.

Gracias Estela. I'll look it up. My mother sent me some from Toledo that was good but I have had some that was better. Just can't remember from where.

Un Abrazo,
Tom-
