Ok, Malaguena ?

A student wants to learn a Malaguena but besides the typical melody, i dont play anything else in malaguenas.

anyone got any tabs or anything ? or can suggest a malaguena on a recording ?

i transcribed a falseta from the solo compas cd but i still need more for her.

I have some Moraito but thats way to hard for a beginner.
Maybe some of the Manuel Granados Malagueña would work?

Florian,

Good to see you again buddy.

I have the perfect one, it's in a Paco Peña book called Guitar Styles! Flamenco for all guitarists. It's a perfect beginner piece in notation and tab, edited by Michael Stimpson.

The book is hard to find, it's not in print anymore, but I found a copy at a store in Australia of all places - Zephyr Music.

If you want to order it from them (if they still have any, it would be of use for lots of students) here is a link to their catalogue. The book is listed on page 13 under Stimpson - http://www.zephyrmusic.com.au/Guitar.Pdf

If you can't get it or need me to send you tiffs or jpegs or something, you'll have to a wait a little until we get our new scanner up and running. It just came by UPS a couple days ago and we should have it ready to go next week.
