Santa's List of Top Flamenco Guitars?

Well, Christmas-time is right around the corner - and I want to ask Santa for an exceptional flamenco blanca! New or used.

Can you help me make a list of some top flamenco guitars that I should ask Santa for?

I have been really good this year!

Ask Santa if he's got an original vintage Reyes in his sack.

I bet he doesn't!!! (unless you've been VERY, VERY good. Immaculate, infact. And even then...)

"Ho, Ho, Ho! No Reyes' left, but have a set of D'Addarios."

What's your price range? Here's a short in various price ranges.

Anders Eliasson
Pedro de Miguel
Lester DeVoe
Aaron Green
Ricardo Sanchis Carpio
Juan Miguel Gonzalez
Felix Manzanero

The list goes on and on but you have to consider your price range and what YOU are looking for in a guitar. The makers listed about make an outstanding instrument but they are all different.

To make Santa wait is a bad business decision. If he had one of your guitars now you'd be world famous. Look what Sabicas,, PdL and Amigo did for DeVoe's reputation. Gerardo for Marvi. Tomatito, Amigo and others for Reyes.
Santa could be big for Eliasson. The day after Christmas, Santa hosts a very large juerga in the North Pole. Many people ask him about the Carpio I sold him a few years back. It's a custom job with Red finish instead of orange. Mistletoe rosette instead of roses and those shiny ball ornaments for the Christmas tree as tuner knobs. Minature ones of course.

If he were to be playing an Eliasson, you'd probably be getting a very large amount of orders from up North. The North Pole has some very great flamenco playing elfs. "El Chiquito", "Orejas con punta", "Mejillas rojas", "El Alegre" & the well known "juguete fabricante" all live here!

LOL, Tom, you are ALMOST as crazy as I am.

Gail, suffice to say: If santa brought me an Eliasson blanca, I would be MORE THAN happy.

If your crazier than I, then your pretty damn crazy! I have a stupid sarcastic sense of humor that drives most of my friends and family crazy. Noone understands me

My 7 year old son however has the same sense of humor as I so we get along just fine.

To me, it doesn´t sound like sarcastic humor, but a lot more like fantastic (like fantasy) humor. Thats what kids and other beings alike like the most (Me to)

Maybe you´re right, maybe I should call Santa and give him my Negra. But it means I´m going to have a lonesome christmas

Ricardo,

I have noticed that you are a big fan of Conde guitars. I myself own 2 of them. Just wondering, have you ever tried their Domingo Esteso Reedition? If yes, how is it compared to the A26? I own one Esteso Reedition and love it but don't remember the sound of the A26.

Thanks,

TK

While we are at it, sure I want a Reyes Padre Negra and a Blanca but it looks like no one wants to sell their Reyes.

Push the boat out a wee bit and look around for a Gerundino They are still out there and if you find a good one, they are hard to beat.
Having said that, try find a nice late 60,s Ramirez spruce top.
Conde is a bit metalic for my taste but that's just my personal opinion and no getting away from the fact that they are played by most professionals.
