Not forgetting you either Samwise.

I notice Dali has been replaced by a semi-rabid Yorkshire Terrier. Nice.

I will be in Sanlucar de Barrameda. About 20 minute cab ride toward the beach from Jerez.
I will be staying in Hotel los Helechos. If you get a free day to hang out at the beach, come on over. Juerga guaranteed that night.

RE: Thank God for Ricardo (in reply to TGerman

Recent discussions on the forum have really brought down my respect for some people here. I am not going to name any names, since I do not want to get involved in such childish fights, but I will say this:

This forum is meant to help each other, not eliminate each other! All the people who posted in the arts festival thread could have spent all that time practicing instead of trying to be right. Yes, most people gave insightful critics which will deifnetely help Edgar in achieving his ultimate goal, but some people really have some growing up to do. If you spent that much energy on a discussion and deviate it towards guitar then we would have a lot of virtuosos around here. It seems that wherever forum I go, discussions arise. Of course this is natural. It is the nature of men to argue, specially hard headed flamencos such as ourselves . But that is fine, I just wish fellow members would be a little more open-minded. If we can actually listen to what others say, then we can get through moments like those and better ourselves.

I hope this does not offend anyone because this post is not meant for the latter. I still thank god for this forum and I will keep doing it until I become a hell of a flamenco guitarist. Then I can finally say f*** y'all and be free of this prison!!

Lol, I am just kidding. The day I become a good player I will probably throw a huge party and invite everyone here. We can all drink some beer or vino and have a picadita of guitars.

Salud!

Lionel

I don't think I was part of that discussion so I guess I am safe? You like me?

Ron,
do you live in a quiet town? Like...do you have freeways, traffic jams, that sort of thing?

Ron,

If someone irritates you, a simple Glasgow Kiss will fix the problem no?

Wow, Ron, that looks beautiful. Reminds me of Victoria, BC, where I hope to spend next summer. Do they have a lot of sheep up there?

A guitarist's life can be so lonely, so much practice and so little time to socialize
