Hmmm, 50/50, that's funny. I got roped into playing Pachenbel's Canon for a wedding gig this Saturday... and I'm finding it rather difficult to get ready. May have to simplify it, has some gnarly tremolo on the 2nd and 3rd strings, a bunch of awkward 5 fret stretch chords, and it goes above the twelfth fret several times. Very stress inducing on the left hand. And speaking of stress, if I play complicated pieces in front of crowds, I usually fall apart! But anyways, if you have heard this piece or at least this arrangement, you can predict what's going on, oh about 100% of the time. Perhaps that's why it's so peaceful, or if you're in another mood, boring and repetitive.
