RE: Alegrias for accompaniment? (in reply to Ramón)
Duende, ... sorry but :) me too please! I just happen to be getting started on some alegrias for dance and this would be very helpful. Thanks! I'll send you my address.

I PM'ed you my email. Did you get it? If not I'll post it but would rather not since it tends to get spidered if you do that. Gotta shake that beginner label ... maybe it's time for an upload :)
RE: Alegrias for accompaniment? (in reply to Ramón)
Hola all, Here's an alegrias por baile tabbed out start to finish with falsetas from Tomatito and Chicuelo, a silencio doble, and an escobilla/buleria de Cadiz finale. I make no claims (well, very limited claims, anyway) to flamenco authority, but from what I understand, this structure is pretty standard for dancers. It has worked out well for me in any case. For anyone who's interested, I've also posted an article discussing the structure of this layout. There's video of this arrangement on the site, too (though I warn you that playing dance accompaniment w/o dancers can be a bit hairy). Hope that helps! Andy
