Fish box guitar on Japanese TV

[edit] you may not be able to see this show, the app to view might not be available outside Japan, let me know I’ll see if there’s a workaround - I think you can watch this on your desktop/laptop computer, but smartphone requires an app. Let me know if it works

There’s a show in Japan that’s been on for several decades on Sunday morning. A celebrity goes on a quest to learn about a part of Japan they’ve never been to and learn stuff about the local culture. This week it’s about stage actor Niiro-san going to Kagoshima to learn about his ancestors ( a very Japanese thing ) - Niiro Shinya is from Osaka and works on Japanese broadway in Tokyo, but his family is from Kagoshima and was in the court of the important king of Satsuma of the Shimazu dynasty.

So Niiro-san begins in central Kagoshima and goes to the shrine of the Shimazu family where all the courtiers are memorialized with the line of Shimazu kings. After that he does a spirit cheer that all jr. high students do, but this particular one he learned is about his family, Kagoshima is big on preserving these heritage activities. He then learns a few martial arts moves used in the olden days and the Kagoshima martial art of using a wooden sword to beat sticks bundled together. Evidently this makes your back and shoulders like iron, maybe I should try it.

Once all that is done they bring him to Akune to see a fishing town, then it all goes extremely bad. It’s 30 minutes and the extremely bad part in in the second half. Just saying.

Doesn’t appear to be a player, you need the app. But if it is funny and popular check YouTube, people often reload stuff like this. For example search:
新納慎也が鹿児島へ

This site has a short clip where we see sword and guitar action:

Yeah we tested it here, I think the app is required, sorry. I doubt this will be on YouTube because the broadcast company hasn’t completely broadcast it throughout the country yet.

I prefer my flamenco guitar spicy,
doesn't have to be fast,
should have some meat on the bones,
can be raw or well done,
as long as it doesn't sound like it's turning green on an elevator floor.
