There were always candid, informal videos of her singing soul and pop music. But she seems to be taking it to the stage the past few months. Personally I prefer flamenco but she does sound naturally talented and to be authentically enjoying singing this way. And whether singing flamenco or soul/pop; ella transmite.

But she's not the only one. For example Yerai Cortes, recently praised on another thread for his 'excellent taste' also releases kitsch pop music:

Whitney is my second favorite female singer, and the first singer to ever get me in the “feels” (not this song, and when I was a child I mean). Maria is not nearly as good, but of course, Whitney would not be able to do buleria or fandango.

Sounds like maybe she wanted to hit that high note at the end, where the sax was?

hahah oh gosh.

the content on thier page is ghastly!! what is Yerai even doing on these tracks? i mean literally? not much guitar at all. maybe vocals? or producing?
