Happy new year! I met a guy a couple weeks ago, he owns a fabulous Burger joint in National Harbour DC here, and he told me his grandfather was Manolo Caracol. I was thinking…”wow, Caracol Burgers have the duende”! . I informed him, based on flamencological research, he was related to El Planeta.

Castillo at Queretaro, Mexico, December 31, 2010. About 10-12meters high. Fireworks not quite as violent as 30-40 years ago, but they did manage to set the huge Christmas tree afire with descending sparks in the adjacent plaza, so the bomberos got to put in an appearance.
