Luthier 30 vs 50 strings

Anyone had a chance to compare these? I know the 20's are all the rage typically but they are a bit too soft for my liking personally. Haven't tried the 30's in a few years and don't quite remember how they match up. Don't hear much about the 50's being used at all.
