RE: Paco interview in English (in reply to Ricardo)
Wow. A great interview. At 5:32 I'm glad that Paco mentioned it. It just gave me extra motivation. When I started to play guitar many years ago I read something like - it's easy to learn to play guitar, but it's very difficult to master it.

Simple words but so much power in them, feeling, inspiration: Dounde!

damn, never seen this interview ! thank you. but also made me sad, remembering once again whome we lost too early. 66 years is too young in this period of time

If you're on the bed smoking a joint waiting for inspiration to come ....no ! You have to be working
Haha, what about mushrooms?! But another way of interpreting that is .. for the non pro player who takes a long break from playing because they loose the inspiration, when it comes back again you say dang! I wish I hadn’t wasted all that time in between!
Glad to hear even the maestro himself suffered from the annoyance of nails! I’ve heard him say this in other interviews but always makes it better to hear him say it!
RE: Paco interview in English (in reply to davewphx)
Back in ~2004 myself and a friend got a picture with him back stage and he spoke English just as well! He was even asking us if we were guitar players and all that, like you could tell he was comfortable speaking it.
if I take 2 to 3 days off it is like starting over.
I could deal with 2-3 days. So no problem. More than a week can be problematic. Last time I haven't practiced for about 15 days. After 2-3 practice sessions everything became normal again. How about you guys?
I still wish the owners of this production would take this interview and the full concert (1Hr50 min) and master it in HD quality for blue ray, maybe on 2 discs with extra features etc. I know the market for products like that sucks these days, but enthusiasts are the ones keeping this market going. It is more about the standard movie goer doesn’t need that. I still love the Rito series on DVD better than streaming it, and many other concert. Heavy metal music still goes out on blue ray of the Wakken festival in Germany etc, so I know it could be done. I also would like either the Montreux Trio concert from 1997 or a documentary, or both, put together for the Trio. All this stuff would sell enough to justify the production IMO, to break even.
