Help me identify this mystery guitar

Hey friends i'm in talks with this seller for this guitar but he has know idea who made it or where it came from since there are no labels on the guitar. He thinks it possible could be from the 30's to the 40's but is not 100% sure. If you guys have any leads or might know the origins, please let me know, thanks!

It can be anything really.
Low quality pics on the rosette don’t help either.
Fretboard is rosewood, back looks like painted maple .
My guess is for a Japanese or German studio guitar. Probably made in the 70ies.

Hmm interesting. I had vintage guitar dealer email me today saying that to him it looks like an old Valencian factory guitar based on the bridge and other features on the guitar. He also said the back is quite unusual though.

Looks like Valencia to me too: I had something similar many years ago which cost me 900 pesetas. The back is one piece of plywood painted to look like wood. Check the action: separation at fret 12 and break angle at bridge. If it needs repair, the work would cost more than the guitar is worth.

A Valencia guitar brand with the name Vicente Tatay was sold in New York about 60 years ago.

Could be 50s or even early 60s. Spain suffered greatly in the Civil War and the years of hunger which followed, which led to a lack of basic materials. However by the 60s, Conde was under great demand and the standard of second level guitars also improved, especially in Valencia. Ricardo Sanchez was a friend of Faustino, so it was a logical step for Conde to outsource some construction to Valencia. Remember that a guitar made personally by Ricardo is as good as any.
