I have a few of David Leiva's dvds. I'm sure Ricardo could enlighten, but the positives are: shows chords and has a clock face timer in the picture, you can add or subtract cante, guitar, etc., shows parts of the piece. IMO Leiva is knowledgeable, and has certain technique, but plays with his brain and not his heart, which I guess means good technique, sometimes questionable execution. For instance, YoYo Ma is an amazing musician, and has done wonders for classical music and fusion. BUT, IMO when he is playing non classical music, he almost swings, but not quite, which can detract from the piece. But it's great to see Leiva's dvd with chords and a clock and a counter, telling you what point the song is at (intro, llamada, etc.) Just my two cents worth!
