Intro

Hello from Virginia!

I am a long time (multi instrument) musician with 35 years of jazz trumpet and guitar playing....and I have been known to have taken a few dollars from gigs with each.

With that said, I've had a lifetime love for Flamenco, and I have finally decided to dedicate my time with it. After a few months of "picking"....I'm terrible. I'm slow. I don't even have the fingernails for it. But I've never been happier with this new journey.

Looking forward to learning from all you. All the best, Jr

You mean they're not long enough yet?

Or they are of poor quality and keep breaking?

Welcome!

For nails some of that just boils down to what works best for you. Personally my thumb nail is pretty long, but all the others aren't long at all. People here often recommend Scott Tenant's advice in "Pumping Nylon" about how to shape your nails. Might be worth looking up.
