One Summer's Day from Spirited Away

Here’s a new arrangement of the beautiful “One Summer’s Day” from the award-winning anime “Spirited Away”! The original piece is for piano+ (orchestra, vocal, etc), and I was inspired to create a solo guitar arrangement after seeing many others that didn’t quite capture the composer’s original, rich harmonies. I had to retune the guitar in a pretty dramatic way for this one (sixth string = C, fifth string = F, fourth string = D#, second string = A, first string = D), but for the first time for an arrangement of mine, I’ve also notated it in both note and tab form.

There are a few challenging parts, particularly the section in the higher register, but overall it’s very playable. The score is available for purchase on my website here: http://www.danielvolovets.com/scores.html Please consider picking up a copy to help support what I do.

Damn you're on a roll! Very nice!

small detail: the clickable link you put in your post doesn't work. I think it's that punctuation mark after "html" that needs to be removed.
