This is a recent live recording which she made in collaboration with Guillermo Boto to illustrate his study "Toreros gaditanos en la génesis del Flamenco". It comes with a booklet summarising the study and uses the oldest versions of the letras they could find for 12 different cantes.

I can't imagine Ricardo owning or listening to that CD, it's got a p*t*n*r* on it!

After watching the Caracoles vid I watched 5 or 6 more of her on YouTube. I am looking at 3 albums:

The one you mention above;
01. Caracoles
02. Liviana, Serrana y Abandolao
03. Cuando yo me muera (Siguiriya)
04. Polo
05. Tientos - tangos
06. Siguiriyas del Planeta
07. Mirabras
08. Malagueña del Mellizo
09. Milonga
10. Siguiriya de Curro Dulce
11. Peteneras
12. Bulerías
Grabado en directo

This one, which is a double;

10. Bulerías gitanas del Barrio de Santa Maria
11. Recuerdos indianos

and this one;
Carmen de la Jara - Puerto de Indias
01. Flor de canela (Vals Peruano por rumba)
02. Alegrías de las Américas
03. La Sandunga (Tangos)
04. El Manisero (Bulerías de Cádiz)
05. Yo no digo (Guajira)
06. Cueca de los Querubines (Bulerías)
07. María Chuchena (Tanguillos de Cádiz)
08. Vidalita
09. Soleá-Petenera
10. Popurri tropical (Rumba)
11. Desde la torre (Aires de Guajira)
12. Conversaciones gaditanas. El "age" de Cai.

In an ideal world I would buy them all, but it's not an ideal world, so I have to choose one. Or maybe two at a stretch! any advice/reviews/recommendations/suggestions?

btw they are here: https://www.elflamencovive.com/spanish/catalogsearch/result/?q=Carmen+de+la+Jara+&___from_store=english

I skip that track just like the flamenco movie. My Rito DVD of fosforito by coincidence has a defect right at the right moment and jumps to home menu

The hardest one to skip for me is Maria Vargas and Paco de Lucia....
