Canon EOS M200 with Cam Link 4K for video (through Windows 10 camera app). Audio is a stereo recording with DPA 4099 and Shure SM57 through Behringer UMC404HD. I did NOT edit, so volume is still too low, but will learn to fix this soon... Please let me know your thoughts!

Thanks y'all - the pure black background is actually a green screen / curtain that I edited via Adobe Premiere Pro so it becomes a pure black background. Pretty easy to do, actually, and my green screen / curtain lighting is not perfect, but it still looks decent. Making slow progress...

The Canon lens looks warmer. Maybe it's your colour balance? I also notice a slight sync. issue. I would also move in a little closer so we can see both hands and not the mic.? Your face should be optional

Audio is slightly ahead of the video by some milliseconds. I assume you are capturing HDMI video out and audio separately - so the camera is compressing to HDMI and then you are decoding and capturing the HDMI, which is adding time compared to the audio capture.
If you are unlucky this delay may increase with a longer video.
See if you can add a delay in your the audio capture software or synch the audio to video with a clap of the hands, then nudge it in the video editor timeline.
Audio directly over HDMI will also cause latency issues.

I swear I clapped and made sure it was in sync. I am watching super closely and I think you're right - there is a tiny delay. I must be getting older because I'm just unable to see / hear as well LOL so that may be contributing to the persistence of the problem, but I'll shift the audio and video manually in the editing software next time and we shall see how that goes.
And I'll improve the exposure because I think the above video was too dark...

It's probably around 100ms by the looks of it. In this video, observe the thumb strokes at the beginning - I think it is easiest to detect there - when the thumb moves visually versus the sound coming out before the thumb actually slices through the string

How about now? Better?
I nudged the audio track forward by five frames so on the timeline of the video editing software, the video starts at frame zero, and the audio starts at frame +5 so I basically delayed the audio (because y'all were saying the audio was "too early").

Looks good to me, brother. So by nudging it by 5 frames, you record in p60, so that's ~ 83ms delay of the audio. It seems synced to me - I would not have noticed anything about sync issues if that were the video you posted 2 days ago. Good job!

I prefer the settings in the last video. The colour looks better especially the skin tone. In the previous one the skin was quite pasty. I also like the boka effect. The sync seems solved though I hope it is not too much of a pita going forward.
I'm new to the genre but was that "real" flamenco you were playing?
RE: El-Gato Cam Link 4K with Canon E... (in reply to Auda)
I've figured out how to sync with just a push of a button, actually. Well, at least for the above video LOL so perhaps this will be reproducible for all upcoming videos if the delay remains the same moving forward. We shall see...
I was NOT playing flamenco in the last video. It was just a pop song actually

Is this in sync?
Probably. I am more distracted by the open-B string you play at the beginning, clashing with the simultaneous C note on A string 3rd fret. That wasn't the tab, dude You are injecting anxiety into a perfectly happy tune

Oh crap, you're right. Hahahahahaha! It sounds so hilarious now that I listen to it knowing the context of the piece.

For me, the audio is just a tad in front. Maybe by 2-3 milliseconds.
So the same problem as was the case originally (per your post when you said my face was optional) when you pointed out the sync issue, albeit less pronounced?
Or have I over-shot the "correction" to where now I've created the reverse problem?
