Jose Plazuelo and Lester DeVoe blancas

Anyone have experience with Plazuelo or DeVoe blancas? Would appreciate any ideas, opinions, comparisons you might have either by board or PM. Thanks, etta

They are both good makers. I own several Devoes. They are really good! I've also played some Devoe duds but his build quality is always excellent. I think buying used for Devoe or Plazueleo is best. When you order new it's always a huge risk if the guitar will be good, when buying used you know what you're getting. I've tried Plazuelos and they are good, very Granada style. Like Devoe some have also been duds. I think big difference is price between both makers.

I have a Devoe Blanca. Best guitar I've ever laid my hands on. But, I'm a lefty so I have pretty limited experience in really evaluating guitars. I have a 70's Ramirez 1A blanca which I like a lot, but it's the Devoe I pull out most nights. I have considered ordering a negra from him but there is only so much time and I have some guitars spending way too much time sitting in their cases already.
