Nylocaster Flamenco Guitar

Hi Guys,

It has been a long time since I have posted...I have returned to playing flamenco guitar...I used to own a Juan Huippe...Last year was a tough one and I had to sell it...

I am joking, but, what do flamenco guitarist think of this??? I used to play electric and ok, just wanted to see what you all thought....I know most would say BS, but, could this nylocaster be respected or embraced by flamenco guitarist one day?

Nylocaster

Thanks,
Kalo

Kalo, I remember you, welcome back!

That guitar sounds decent, I don't think it would every be the primary instrument in flamenco but I can see it being used, why not?

RE: Nylocaster Flamenco Guitar (in reply to rombsix

As of today, January 23 of 2024, there are some Nylocaster guitars still available for purchase via this website:

https://www.spanishguitarplayer.com/nylocaster-guitars

Please support the family members of the late great Ben Woods.

This is how the guitar sounds right out of the box (zero modifications or tweaks). For this sound test, the guitar is plugged into my audio interface with a TS cable. I am using some very light EQ, compression, reverb, and noise restoration. The output on this instrument is *very* healthy even though it is entirely passive (no batteries whatsoever!). A wonderful accomplishment on these guitars, Ben. RIP, my friend...
