Right hand

Someones´ right hand posture and poise of only little bending that I find to be remarkable.

Sorry for responding so late, Simon; for me has been away.

Independently from the individual level to which this player has reached, it seems as if he hit the dream road of a perfect right hand technique. Least of angles involved and least deviation from natural posture and poise that can be had.

He has cleared the way to achieving max performance by no superfluous neural and muscular effort. I can see him going through any material with ease.

A perfect visual example that can be used as technical inspiration. Taking a close look could be tremendously valuable to any practitioner. A pity thus that with exception from you, either all who clicked on this thread are not able of realizing the opportunity to benefit from, or it being just another mean refusal to acknowledge a helpful pointer.
Either way ..., whatever.

Hopefully at least some modest beginners come across this video and to taking a considerable short cut through what else wise might be a very different way to advanced and rather rare degree of coordinative proficiency.

Admirable.

Missed this earlier sorry. My opinion is he has excessive movement epecially with index, easy fix with relaxed staccato practice. Also recommend moving away from sound hole for a better tone, especially using piezo that quacks more as you get near soundhole. He is doing well as intermediate level player. No comment on the strumming.

My humble take on this being that in the first example one can see the physiologically most ergonomical execution. So perfect that it clearly shows sequences of how outer limbs (fingers operation) determine the posture of upper parts* (wrist, arm, shoulder) in place of common opposite with upper parts determining position and operation of outer limbs.
* That is the shizznizz!!

As I said before, through omitting of any superfluous angling and strain, enabling most seamless of motorics.

Once such unrestrained practice and sensation are established, an utmost of neural and muscular economics, allowing accurate / optimal distribution and measure of triggering, the optimized dexterity will allow intended or for certain applications handy change of posture with still sustained relative optimum in flowing / least blocked movement, as in the second video.

Looks like nobody wants to be on that stage. I find embarrassing the way band members don’t even look at each other and zero emphaty with the audience. Focusing on guitarist’s posture is more exciting than listening for sure.
