It doesn't surprise me that Gibson is struggling these days, growing up and until I discovered flamenco just a few years ago I exclusively played electric and always dreamt of one day owning a Gibson after playing my uncles vintage SG but when I got to the age where I could work and save for one all of the recent models I tried out just didn't have that same vibe I found in the few older models I tried out. I'd much rather save my money now towards flamenco guitars which are fully handmade and actually worth the hefty pice tags.
