Leo de Aurora

Word is that Leo de Aurora, Jeronimo Maya's brother and a talented guitarist in his own right has passed away suddenly.
A very young guy. Sad to see another gone.
RIP

Yep. Mid-30s I think?
Very sad news.

I can find only a single reference to this on the web.

Do you have other sources?

I just heard it through the grapevine from fellow flamencos in Madrid. If ever he didn't actually die, it's a rumor that sure made the rounds fast!

I was chatting to a friend of mine from Madrid and he mentioned it.
I subsequently heard the same thing from the owner of a venue in Madrid where I played before.
A short while later it was on Facebook in a few posts by people who worked with him

I saw them play together in London which rapidly turned into a jazz jam, which was not to my taste, considering it was a flamenco gig.

Far too young to die at 37 years old.

I still can't find any news of his death outside of a couple of web sites, which is a bit odd.
