sapwoodbridge

i just cut some rosewood bridges and got one, that is half sapwood, but has a nice taptone, light weight, is perfectly quartersawn and attracts me (and is cut more than 30 years ago). is it a bad idea to use it for a bridge? i would take the heartwood for the tieblocksite, but dont know if its problematic because of the heterogene density of the piece.
any experiences or thoughts are welcome.
greetings
ben

I don't see any problem if the wood is uniformly hard and strong.
