email trouble

So the story is.
My girlfriend bought a new high-end Samsung telephone.
When she sends me a mail from the telephone the mail appears as "member team"
(if she sends a mail from her computer using the same gmail account it appears as her name)
When I reply, my answer is not sent to her but to another mail adress " gmail@cxd.accounthawaiiantel.net " and I get a mailer deamon message saying that it was impossible to deliver the message.
She is using gmail
I have tried with the 2 mail adresses that I have and with the same result.
I have tried googling the above mentioned mail adress and nothing shows up.

So, does anyone have an idea of what is going on. It smells fishy IMHO.

It might be a phone that has been pre-owned or used for demos. I would reset it to factory defaults and start again.
