Hippner Spruce/Bubinga

Hello,

Beginning to comb the used guitar market and with everyone's suggestion to seek used Lutherie models, I came across this listing:

https://reverb.com/item/2197128-darren-hippner-starburst-negra-flamenco-guitar-2016#policies-tab

I've been trying to find more info on this model, but of course cannot find anything. No video or sound clips are available. What kind of characteristics would Bubinga produce? Anyone play a Hippner guitar?

Thanks

more remarkable than the bubinga, which would probably be fine, is that the top is not spruce, but yellow cedar, as far as i know, a kind of cypress and kind of a weird choice for a nylon string soundboard. but who knows...
anyway, i think for that money you could get a far more flamencish guitar!

I have no experience with this guitar but he bought the rosette from my collection of an old 1950's Hernandez y Aguado flamenco guitar.

I have since sold my collection to Carlos Rodriguez Quiros in San Juan Puerto Rico. But what I hear is that the Hippner guitars are certainly worth the money.
