Flamenco vacation in Spain

Hello, I live in Hawaii, Ive been studying Flamenco guitar for 12 years now, I love it, although I still consider myself a beginner/intermediate. My favorite artists are Diego de Morao, his late father Moraito, Vicente Amigo, Pepe Habichuela. I want to experience as many shows as possible, and take as many lessons as I can handle. My biggest question, is when should I go to spain? My wife and I will be experiencing Spain together, and we prefer to travel either in Spring or Fall, when jeans and a Tshirt or Long sleeve will be the average cool weather. I want to avoid traveling to Spain if all the Flamenco greats are on tour. I want to be in Spain, when they are most likely performing, or at least a few greats. I know there are many. We usually stay at very nice places on the mainland, and we are interested in knowing where we should stay, when we should go, and what guitar schools are the best? Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated. My spanish is not great, but I feel that I can get by, besides, it doesnt take much to speak guitar, or wine?

Thanks

Well, I don't know whether this will matter to you or not but there are definitely more cultural events during the spring then during the fall. By that, I mean Semana Santa or feria type of things.

As for larger shows with the big names, the places with more frequent shows would probably be Seville or Madrid. Both have great guitar teachers and schools. Even though I live here, I wouldn't recommend Madrid for vacations, but that's just me. I love the place but I just can't shake the impression that it's an ugly city...
You can also keep a look out for master classes. There are of course the annual ones like Nunez's but there are also smaller ones, perhaps harder to plan though, usually organized by a small flamenco school. I got to take classes from P. Habichuela and D. del Morao that way in Ubeda and Jaen. The Morao one was during the spring but the Habichuela one was in the middle of the summer if I remember correctly. They're great masterclasses but the problem is that they are very poorly advertised, especially on the internet.

If you want to see big names, go to Seville when the Bienal is on. You just missed the last one, so the next one will be September/October 2018. There are one, two or three shows every night for about a month.
