my photo of the week 69 - Puppy Shot

Lost my beloved Ricoh camera on vacation so I upgraded to the amazing Sony RX1R - a full-frame legend with a lush 35mm Zeiss Sonnar lens.

Count the eyelashes on this random puppy shot in my local park. If you travel, buy this camera and weep. The Ricoh GR is cheaper and smaller and also a great choice but I am a sucker for full-frame and Zeiss glass.

Yeah nice lens indeed. And good photo.

I'm going to be looking for a new camera to shoot guitars, I'll check this one out.

[edit]

Oh maybe I won't be getting one of these....very expensive. But impressive.

Though rather a Canon guy myself, for current optimal price / quality ratio at bang for bucks, considering general performance, state of individual generation / feature advance, task in question, yet versatility of application, sharpness at edges et al, it is worth looking at the Nikon D7100 with a AF-S DX 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6G ED lense.
Impressive IQ for about 1400 bucks new.

A top example of contemporary peak in technology under affordable terms.

(Seeking second hand gets it even cheaper. And with homeland tarifs and corresponding choice of offers one could be ending up with about half that price for a mint combo whichs well captured shots most eyes won´t tell apart from those through way more expensive primes on FF bodies.)
On common screens and print sizes anyway.
