This is absolutely gorgeous. Am I right that 560mm is quite a short scale?

Thanks, the scale is short because it is tuned to A. Like a guitar with a capo on the 5th fret. A to A. There is a special set of strings for that tuning You can also use regular light gauge classical strings and tune it to G or F#and have a small guitar. Requintos are usually 560 to 580 mm scales.

It's quite a nice little instrument, it's built tightly so it will take some good playing playing to shake it loose. But it has a beautiful sound. It plays rasgueado fairly well too. :)
